The Haunting Wave by Allan1952

I discovered this artist just today whilst browsing fractal art and fell in love immediately with the suggestibility of his works.  It was difficult to choose just one!  I find I have no words to describe what I think I see here, it just seems to be the substance of visions and dreams, which at the time of experiencing them, you know deeply what they mean.

Red and blue (with parameters) by pupukuusikko

Red and Blue by pupukuusikko

This reminds me of topography of a strange mountainous area with pinnacled peaks and deep valleys with little rivulets running and very craggy terrain.  Yet it's also very ethereal in quality, set off by the misty blue hues top right.  The perspective of the peaks too, is fascinating and I love the surreal, other-worldly effect of this image.

A wonderful impression of the Yellow Mountains in Eastern China, cleverly created by this excellent abstract fractal artist.  She has picked up on the mystical feel this place invokes, as well as the colouring and the lighting and I find it quite compelling to look at.

This delicate looking formation of spirals and thorny projections seems to "float" and draw the eye to explore.  Beautifully enhanced by the mix of colour and lighting against a dark, mysterious background.

Silk twist by Lashington

Silk Twist by Lashington

Aptly titled, on full view this really does look like a gloriously colourful piece of silk material that has been draped carelessly, yet artistically, along a bench or table.  The textures within it are an excellent touch, seductively enhancing the gnarly curves and twirls.
