ellarien's Pong 22 becomes my Pong No. 23

Just as the Heir thought he had got out of the way of "his" orb, it landed right in front of him and a soft voice called to him, "Come with me and I will take you to your own dimension.  You'll be quite safe with me."  He was dumbstruck as he looked towards the owner of the voice, to behold a tiny creature with a smiling, wrinkled face looking at him.  The head was far too large for the body and seemed to roll about, as though the musculature to hold it steady was inadequate.  He felt sorry for this little creature, but wondered how it could possibly have the authority, or even the means, to get him out of this hostile place.  "I know what you're thinking", it proffered, head hanging precariously to one side.  "W-what would that be?" asked the Heir.  "I know you think I'm incapable of doing what's needed for you, but hear me out.  You've seen this craft of mine hovering near you nearly all the time you've been here, haven't you?"  "Yes" said the Heir.  "And you've heard a humming sound too?" (Its head was now hanging precariously, as though on a mere slither of skin.)  "I have indeed", he replied.  "Well I love to hum.  It keeps me happy.  But I hadn't realised it was frightening you.  I've been keeping an eye on you all this time, trying to ensure your safety."  "You have??" replied the Heir, now feeling terribly concerned for his new-found friend.  "Tell me," he said, "Why is your head so large and heavy - and how do you manage to keep your balance with it hanging so acutely in all those different angles? - I-I don't mean to be rude, I'm concerned..."  "Oh that!  That's a defect our species were born with, but I'm quite used to it, and can always manage, no matter where my head is at the time.  Some of us have our heads hanging nearly all the way down to our feet you know!" The Heir stood there open-mouthed and hoped he would never have to see anything with quite that scale of deformity.  "Come now," the creature urged.  "Let's get moving before our way is blocked - Come!  Come quickly!"  The Heir looked over both shoulders, saw no signs of anything untoward, and scuttled with his little friend into the back of the orb - the very orb that had been following him all this time in such a sinister way.  Up, up and away they went, zooming off into the distant golden haze...
