This is a beautiful piece that you have made. I love the fractal patterns in the trees and how they translate throughout the left hand side. I also love the birds. And that this is a piece for japan makes me smile. My inner mathematician is smiling right now.

I think you need to design more symmetry into your piece. The right side does not have the same fractal-esque beauty that the left side has. I think that you could have gone or go in two directions for this piece to make it even better then it already is. One suggestion is that you go with a different yet still curved fractal pattern on the right instead of a smudge /ripple effect. This will keep the flow of the water constant in your piece but nothing will be lost in the meaning like i feel happens on your right side currently. The other way is to go with more of a Mandelbrot like pattern to keep the infinity but using its shape to create more of a defined region for you to express yourself in.
What do you think?

Ohh, I love this image so very much!

The silver and white complement each other beautifully and the form you have chosen works wonderfully with the overall impact of the piece as a whole.

I like the abstract nature of the tree and red solar orb and the beautiful silhouettes of the birds descending as if presented as a gift from a higher plane.

I love the solidity of the left side and then the drawing out of mystery which is accentuated beautifully from the right side with the disclosed rippled effect of light and distortion.

I could speak about this piece for awhile, but have no wish to bore you overly much :)

I will just say thank you kindly for sharing such a beautiful piece, my friend
