March 2013 Challenges

March 2013 Laris 3 (Julia) Formula Challenge

For this challenge have provided a starter image that uses Laris 3 (Julia) Formula from sam.ufm. This unusual formula is what we would like you to focus all your attention on this month. It provides a number of parameters that can change the base structure quite profoundly so you will find it quite flexible yet fun to work with. You will find that it creates quite fluid, distorted fractal structures and lends itself to rather more abstract images - this will be a challenge to artists like myself who find abstracts push them out of their comfort zone!

To these people we say: just give this challenge your best shot and see what you can come up with, you may well surprise yourself!!
