Ever felt the awesome power of a thunder storm in the sky?
And wondered what God's doing with His universe?
Ever asked the question, Why?

Ordered Chaos? Or just happenstance?
Divine design? Or mere circumstance?
An accident? Dare we take the chance?

Is it a Power we need to fear
Sometimes when the storm gets too near,
Taking us out of our comfort zone?

Yet in our complacency we still remain -
At our peril we strive and struggle in vain
To find alternatives to an answer that's all too plain...

If only we'll look, really look, and see!
If only we'll listen and really hear!
Looking beyond what we thought was so clear!

Nothing is an accident at all, you see,
For what's seen was prepared by His Mighty Hand
And our lives are to be lived by His command...

So let us take heed lest we should perish!
Such is His Power in the Thunder Storm
To take the lives that we so dearly cherish...

Chaos by Design?
Vengeance is Mine
Says the Lord almighty up there in the sky!

But Love came down to earth you see,
To give a fresh start to you and to me,
So let us contemplate Who this might be...

Love, Gentleness, Power, Design?
Order, Patience, Intervention Divine?
Understanding, Empathy, Still need a sign?

It's there in the skies, in the earth, in the sea,
It's there in the air, in the land, every tree.
Be still and take heed - For we're in such need...

Of the One who gained Vict'ry for you and for me!
